Latest Bulletin 28-01-2019: A short time ago Unique Identification Authority of India – UIDAI has announced to ban on Aadhaar card Birth Date changes through the online portal. that means now every Indian citizen who wants to make changes in dates of birth on their Aadhaar card, will now have to visit their area nearest aadhaar enrolment centre (Aadhaar Sewa Kendra). you will change the details on Aadhaar like name, address etc but not to change your date of birth if the difference is over or less three years on your current Aadhaar card identity proof.
UIDAI has informed to all the local and regional Aadhaar enrolments centres regarding the changes date of birth in Aadhaar needs mandatary document proof, only if the DOB difference is less than three years. because three year difference is maximum. they added, if the date of birth difference in Aadhaar is over three years, A resident should have modus operandi its office in Bombay.
